Professional books for teachers will be on display and available for purchase through Heinemann Publishing. There will be a 20% discount for the conference. The books will focus on a variety of topics, and will include topics covered in the conference workshops. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. In addition, workshop presenters are invited to bring for our sales table books they have written.
A vegetarian diet, excluding meat, fish, fowl and eggs, is observed on campus as a reflection of Sant Bani School’s founding principle of reverence for all life.
In response to local need we are organizing a collection drive for our local food pantry. We will assemble donations of non-perishable vegetarian food items for the Franklin Community Action Program. Please bring your donations and look for collection boxes at the conference.
Conference participants are invited to bring their own cups for hot beverages to help Sant Bani’s efforts to reduce, reuse and recycle.
T
h4. Thank You
We are grateful to many people for the success of this conference. Teachers, students, parents, and presenters worked with our conference committee to create a richly rewarding event. We especially note the financial support of the Franklin Savings Bank which helped make these “Conversations in a Changing World” possible through a generous Franklin Savings Bank Community Grant.
