Chamber Music Series

Sant Bani favorite, Daniel delPino, and the Iberia String Quartet, November 19th, 2010.
See their page for more details!

A day school set in the granite hills of rural NH. may seem like an unlikely spot to be presenting world class chamber music, but that is exactly what Sant Bani School has been doing for the last seven years.

The school was founded in 1973 to offer strong academics and educate all parts of the child in a milieu that honored the spiritual — and it quickly met a need and has expanded rapidly. The economic diversity of the student body — with two out of every three students on scholarship — mirrors the thirty surrounding towns and cities the school serves.

Now with 170 students in grades K-12 the school offers a series of four chamber music concerts a year. Performers provide an enrichment program to the Sant Bani School students during the school day prior to an evening concert that is open to all.

The series has presented the Muir Quartet, the Cypress Quartet, the Lions Gate Trio, the Cavatina Duo, as well as Amit Peled, Daniel del Pino, Alon Goldstein, Alexander Fiterstein, Katie Lansdale, Paul Dykstra, Irene Gilb, Pamela Pyle, and Ittai Shapira.

Join us for fine music, and good company throughout the school year!
