2011-12 Projects Period

Projects Period is coming! It is a time to focus on something you have always wanted to do. Don’t wait until the last minute. Be creative. Try something that has never been done!

Projects Period runs from February 20th through March 2nd, 2012.

Grades 7-12: A draft is due to your English teacher on Monday, January 23rd for a composition grade.

Grades K-12: Your complete proposal is due Monday, January 30th at noon to Roxanne’s desk.

“Complete” means the cover sheet is filled out with all required boxes are checked and all signatures have been obtained in addition to the proposal itself.

The Display and Pizza Café will be Wednesday evening, March 7th, 2012.

Things to know:

High School Students should propose a project that will take a minimum of 25 hours to do during this time.

Students in grades 7-8 should propose a project that will take a minimum of 20 hours to do during this time.

Students in grades K-6 should propose a project that will take a minimum of 15 hours to do during this time. Kindergarten projects are optional.
