Sant Bani Doings: We are all engaged in Service!
The senior class began the renovation of the historic Sanbornton bandstand in front of the old town hall. The group was led by Facilities Director Peter Bacon, carpenter volunteer Dana Witham, and faculty Richard Danahy and Susan Dyment. Stay tuned for opportunities to volunteer as this project continues.
On the high school service day the 9th grade raked, weeded, mulched and shoveled to help the Red Oak Montessori School get ready for opening day. The hardworking group was led by Red Oak Montessori Head and Sant Bani parent Tammie Huckins, parent Michael Folsom, and faculty Jen and Todd Schongalla and new French teacher Linda Kunhardt.
The 7th and 8th grades participated in the New Hampshire Coastal Cleanup at Hampton Beach for the eighth straight year. Our students collected 25 pounds of trash and carefully recorded what they found to facilitate scientific research on ocean debris. The group was led by Todd Schongalla, Debbie Asbeck, Priscilla Fay, Lorraine Jones, Kirsten Wilkinson, and parent Michael Folsom.
Everyday Doings:
Students in the middle grades enjoyed time drawing outside during art block.
High schoolers in the Auto Mechanics art block learned what’s
under the hood of a car with teacher Jon Engle.
