Daily ScheduleFor third through twelfth graders, each day begins with Morning Session followed by seven periods: six academic and a final period devoted to the arts.
Morning Session is a time for the school community to gather together for announcements, a presentation of some kind (usually reading from a story), and a moment of quiet “before we begin our busy day.”
While the younger grades were focused on skill building, and third grade began the transition, fourth grade jumps with both feet into the subjects applying those skills to learn new knowledge. Teacher, Jon Engle, is the main teacher for most subjects—language arts, math, and science. Beth Robinson teaches New Hampshire History which is accompanied by many and varied local field trips to round out the experience. Art, music, and physical education round out the curriculum, and fourth grade students mix with older students (3-12) during Art Blocks.
