Program of Study

The High School curriculum is an advanced, college preparatory curriculum. Our rotating schedule is designed to give each course one double period a week to explore larger, in-depth, hands-on learning initiatives. The curriculum provides a rich assortment of electives that are both traditional/departmental electives.

Finding a safe, happy, and healthy balance of academics, the arts, extra-curricular choices and summer activities requires communication as well as sustained home and school support. The minimum graduation requirements include the following, yet most students exceed these criteria:

• English—4 credits


• Mathematics—3 credits


• Foreign Language—3 credits or the completion of Level III


• Social Studies—2 to 3 credits, including US History


• Science—2 to 3 credits

        (Science and Social Studies credits must total at least 5)

• World Religions—1 credit, Senior year


• Health Ed—1 credit, 1 quarter credit each year
